Tianjin Off-Shore Economic Zone Grain and Oil Logistics Center Phase I Silo Project
Zolo Slipform system was applied in Tianjin Lingang Economic Zone Grain and Oil Logistics Center Phase I Silo Project.
The project is located in the Tianjin Off-Shore Grain and Oil Industry Park, one of the first demonstration bases for the new industrialization industry (grain, oil and food) in Tianjin. It covers a total area of about 4926 square meters and has a construction area of about 9852 square meters. The No. 2 and No. 3 grain and oil docks are designated national import ports for grain.
After completion, the storage capacity of soybeans can reach 288000 tons. Zolo Slipform team is responsible for the construction of eight reinforced concrete silos as a sub-contractor.
During the construction process, the project team innovatively developed the bailey frame support system, opened up a new path for the construction of conical shell structure roof, reduced construction costs, and shortened the construction period by 45 days.
After 18 months of fierce battles, 10 project managers and more than 110 construction workers completed the construction of the main project on schedule and with quality.
